Feb 7, 2018 - With a broken heart I have to announce that EFF's founder, visionary, and our ongoing inspiration, John Perry Barlow, passed away quietly in his sleep this morning. We will miss Barlow and his wisdom for decades to come, and he will always be an integral part of EFF. It is no exaggeration to

BGBworld.com- mark and mostofa and amy and wise friends coming to UN General Assemblyseptermber have been studying how tech systems like this exponentially impact world poorest Billion-girls-boys particularly in bangladesh last 10 years of our work and chinese villages and wherever youth trade hope, friendship, trust-based currencies

friends understand for elders and youth to map win-win debates of this out of china, new york, dc, buckingham palace and wherever development of communities need livelihoods and health to be sustained by investors and the way money is designed and education is changed

50 years of ERworld.tv
back when man landed on the moon my father's life work at The Economist imagineered the same sorts of maps that Belt Road Imagineering now mediates -

this week in DC i met a few development agency leaders from japan and britain who recalled that my father (and culturally important people like prince charles and japans emeperor of the 1960s) hypothesised that all of history 1500-1946 was a right old muddle - ruling the waves the wrong way round which sadly uk and japan empires dismally imposed across eurasia (dad was a teenage navigatr in world war 2 over myanmar and bangaldesh- his diaries of the time storytell right old muddles, as do my grandfathers sir kenneth kemp out of mumbai during his 25 yreas of mediating gandhi before writing up the legalese of india's independence on behalf of UK gov)

EconomistDiary.com
humanity (climate) was unlucky: if nature had lowered the whole of eurasia by 10 degrees of latitude- the british and firstcomers of industrial revolution let alone alumni of adam smith across the atlantic (and other north sea empire countries) would have systemically developed win-win trades around the east's main currencies of spices and silks via the artis sea coastal Belt, never have replaced the whole silk road by imposing win lose trade and borders between each south eurasia belt nation nor turned the med sea and med east landblock into a sea of refugees-- world wars would not have spun round eurasia; the english language wouldnt have been the prime source of fake news- and maybe now youth can play with 1000 times more communictaions technologies arts and cultures would happily unite the world the way jack ma suggests olymoics from tokyo 2020 should be a beacon for

those who value girls holding up half the shy have a lot to culturally redesign out of every community as well as AI whether you believe in golden rule religions like francsicans or human spirits which Damo technologists and Gateway marketers do - will blockchain be the tool that frees billiongirlsboys- ie the poorest billion of youth to rebuild communities and economices from the ground up- bangladesh and china's universities for public servant leaders seem to me to be open spaces worth linking in - where else do you linkin?......chris macrae, world bank last week of spring meetings in DC 240 316 8157 linkedin UNwomens; will anyone be at the war of minds between aiib and silicon valley may 5- would help if there is a blockchain student there to help linkin all our futures....................

we start the new year with nations united around 17 goals that youth need to spend much of their life's world on if the human race is not to go the way of the ddoo, but in the west's sad media world we are conditioned by a rotten idea : that people who know the most go to summits to gain publicity not to turn their knowhow into education-for-jobs-sustainability

HOW CAN WE CHANGE MEDIA & EDUCATION IN TIME FOR HUMAN RACE TO SURVIVE

i have been to summits in the east where its different - for example in Korea aiib2017 we learnt of the search for 2000 regional leaders who want to share ideas with their youth on how to race to carbon zero;  and we learnt how s.korea, china and japan can help develop 30 million people in n korea without any wars- at such a summit , there are almost as many young people as elders among the delegates; the young people are developing curricula out of what the eminent leaders say needs changing and then these curricula are used at schools or peer to peer coached (aiib 2018 mumbai has quite a challenge to live up to)

the good news is that the vast majority of sustainability challenges are collaboration challenges which need solutions served by communities around the world where the jobs and the value created stays in the communities - what our 1984 book called microfranchises

therefore in seeking partners in the sino-english speaking world record book of jobs creators, we are not too worried if most of the top jobs creators are in the east - by definition a sustainbbility goals jobs crfa etor wants to share their solutions for youth to action network out of every community in need

2018's game : how can you find someone in regions you care about most who can connect with the world's top 6 jibs creators -see also diary of summits where these jobs creators urgently need to linkin to 1 education 2 new development banking 3 mapping how world trade channels are designed to bridge happy neighbors instead of the conflicts between neighbors that such very 20th c conditions such as cold wars spiralled
